The Global Development meetup is hosted by the Center for Global Development in DC. This meetup is for anyone interested in international development issues and topics. Our meetups are intended to be informal group discussions and community building events. Hope to see you there.

Global Health Practitioners was founded in order to promote networking opportunities for international health practitioners currently living in the United States, and to organize a group of practitioners that are qualified and available for working on international development projects. Global Health Practitioners may include foreign nationals and US nationals that are doctors, nurses, pharmacists, or health educators.

To share knowledge and experiences about using information and communication technologies (ICT) as a tool for enabling international development. A gathering place for those of us working (or interested in working) in the field so we can share our projects, reports, and applications so that we can learn from each other.

A monthly chance for those breaking new ground on, working in, or studying about international public health and epidemiology to network, relax, and meet other global health folks. Stop by our next happy hour, and learn about what others are doing to improve the health of those in developing countries. And have a drink.

This group is dedicated to expanding international culture through our friends at various embassies in and around Washington, D.C. Throughout the year, we'll meet for receptions and galas and experience a variety of cultures of many host countries, such as their respective food, drinks, music, dance, art, history and more.
